This sauce is sweet and tangy, with a hint of chipotle in the background, but not enough to make it hot. At the taste test, it was not my favourite, however, Liz loved it and suggested it was perfect to accompany cheese and crackers. For me, it was too mild, but I can see how it would do a good base for a glazing and if you're into hot stuff, adding a little extra heat with some crushed chipotles in adobo sauce, it could work wonders!
